The Mill Hoppers Club for 7 – 10 Year Olds
The Mill Hoppers club is a place for young people aged from 7 – 10 years to learn arts, science, engineering and digital technology in a fun and lively environment.
The full 2018 programme for the Mill Hoppers is as follows:
March 3rd: Minecraft Workshop with Joel Mills
March 17th: Ukulele workshop With Gary Bridgens. Learn to play ukulele and try your hand at song-writing and other skills!
April 14th: Minecraft Workshop with Joel Mills
May 13th: Spinning, braid and tassel making with Stella Adams-Schofield. Learn to use a drop spindle and spin yarn into braids and tassels.
June 16th: Eco-printing and natural dyeing with Stella Adams-Schofield. Make eco-prints and use vegetables to make colourful dyes for cloth
Sept 29th: Minecraft Workshop with Joel Mills
Oct 20th: Minecraft Workshop with Joel Mills
Nov 24th: Feltmaking with Erika Grime. Wet felting using a variety of materials such milk protein, nettle tops and recycled fibres to produce your own artwork.
