The Mill Hoppers Club for 11 – 16 Year Olds

February 2016 saw the launch of our new Mill Hoppers group aimed at young people aged 11-16 year old, and we hope to see it continue to grow in 2018 and beyond. The group meets in the barn one Saturday a month for workshops based around arts, science, engineering and digital technology.

The full 2018 programme for the Mill Hoppers is as follows:

March 17th: Ukulele workshop With Gary Bridgens. Learn to play ukulele and try your hand at song-writing and other skills!

April 21st: STEM Workshop with Fran Ward, with some interesting challenges.

May 19th: Minecraft Workshop with Joel Mills

June 9th: Minecraft Workshop with Joel Mills

July 14th: Minecraft Workshop with Joel Mills

July 21st: Pinhole Photography with Darren Andrews. Bring along a box, from matchbox to something bigger and make your own working pinhole camera! Other materials provided.

Sept 22nd: Feltmaking with Erika Grime. Using wet felting techniques. Experiment with bright colours, shapes and textures to create your own unique piece of felt

Oct 13th: Extreme Lego Challenges with Fran Ward
