The year is 1969. The long hot summer of love is the backdrop to this play set in a small Lakeland Bobbin mill. The sharp decline of a rural industry is accelerated by the coming of plastic. A group of workers face an uncertain future -and they all have secrets they can no longer keep. The toilets provide a place for rumour, refuge and revelation …
