As a Living Heritage site we need to keep on top of site maintenance, so what better way than to organise Boon Days for all our staff, volunteers and the surrounding community to get involved!
Our next Boon Day is almost upon us, taking place on Sunday 3rd June, and we need YOUR help to give the mill, barn and garden area a good clean and tidy in preparation for the Summer season!
There are various little jobs that we need help with from weeding to hoovering, so if you have a couple of hours spare and are interested in helping out, please get in touch. Boon days also prove to be a sociable occasion, as it provides volunteers with the opportunity to catch up with each other over a hearty and nutritious lunch, which will once again be provided by Bread of Heron group leader Pete. If you are able to help out please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01539 564271 so that we’re able to make catering arrangements.
