Thresh and Ply
Our archive and library holds many stories, insights, anecdotes and documents relating to the history of Heron Corn Mill and the surrounding area and its people. Thresh and Ply will produce new works in all disciplines drawn from this rich seam of material. The first performance was Threshold, seen by the public at the re-opening of the mill at Easter 2014.
For 2016, Performer in Residence Carran Waterfield is researching Women of Beetham, and is planning to hold a course later this autumn, on developing a performance piece. You can read Carran’s blog here www.ninaandfrederick.co.uk/wordpress1/ and please get in touch if you are interested in the course.
