Bread of Heron

Bread of Heron is a community breadmaking group based at Heron Corn Mill, where we make it, bake it and eat it!

The group is all about learning some basic skills, having a chat and a laugh and most importantly taking home some great tasting bread! Group leaders Pete, Kate, and Julie & Les all have a wealth of baking experience, running sessions on alternate weeks over each six week term, meaning there’s always someone on hand to offer advice in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Bread of Heron runs for 6 sessions on alternate weeks, with sessions starting at 9am and running to 12-1pm depending on when the bake is finished!

There is a minimum recomended donation of £10 per session to cover the cost of flour, yeast, tea and coffee.

All abilities are welcome, though the group is presently open to over 16s only.

To enrol in the Bread of Heron group please complete the form located HERE and email it to [email protected], or post it to Heron Corn Mill, Mill Lane. Beetham, Milnthorpe, Cumbria, LA7 7PQ.
